How to Set Up and Use Modus

Open Modus and click Sign Up.

Enter your work email and set a password.

After confirming, log in with the same details.

On first login, Modus will ask you to record a short voice sample.

This helps it detect your speech more accurately during meetings.

Read the provided sentence or speak naturally for a few seconds, then save.
Get to know the Interface
At the top of the sidebar you’ll see three main tabs:

Suggestions (Cue Cards): Discreet prompts with what to say or highlight.

Fact Check: Real-time verification of claims (true, false, orpartially true).

Explain: Simple definitions or context for tricky terms.

Transcript: Shows what has been said with separate tabs for each user.

Start Listening: Click the start listening button for modus to start listening into your conversation.
On the left, you’ll see Current Suggestion; on the right, your SavedCards for later.
Click the floating Listen / Record bar before your call starts.
Modus will begin Live Transcription:

Captures everything said.

Labels speakers automatically.

Highlights decisions, risks, and follow-ups.
Use cue Cards in real time

When Modus detects something important, a CueCard pops up.

Example: “Q2 revenue: $2.3M, NA 60%, EU 30%,APAC 10%.”

Adapting to all social groups and situations.
As the conversation flows:

Click Fact Check to validate a claim made in the meeting.

Click Explain to get a simple breakdown of jargon, terms, or references.

Export your transcript with highlights (decisions, risks, follow-ups).

Saved cards remain accessible in your dashboard for review.

Nothing is stored beyond what you allow.
